August See Care Share Monthly Update
The August edition of the See Care Share Update is now ready to share with your venues, and it’s packed with important insights to help keep safety, compliance, and wellbeing at the forefront of everything we do.
This month, our spotlight is on Statutory Compliance. We are encouraging every venue to ensure there is clear ownership and accountability for key compliance areas, including Gas, Electrical, Pressure Systems, Lifting Equipment, Fire Safety, Extraction, Water, Air Conditioning, and Asbestos. Having the right responsibilities documented is a vital step in maintaining safe and compliant environments for our teams and guests.
We are also introducing a new Leisure Services Risk Assessment within our WSMS. This assessment is designed for venues that offer leisure facilities such as gyms, swimming pools, saunas, or steam rooms, helping to ensure these spaces continue to operate safely and effectively.
Finally, our Take Home Safety feature focuses on Cycle to Work Day on Thursday 6th August. Whether you cycle as part of your daily commute or simply enjoy getting out on two wheels in your spare time, we’ve included practical tips to help you stay safe and make every journey a positive one.
