Electrical Equipment
Electrical equipment generally fall into two categories, Fixed Electrical Installations and Portable Electrical Equipment. Fixed equipment covers the permanent wiring, distribution boards, sockets, light fittings, and other parts of the electrical system such as fixed appliances, electrical heaters, cookers, HVAC systems. Portable equipment refers to any electrical equipment that is designed to be moved while connected to a power supply, or that can be easily moved from one place to another, common examples are power tools, IT equipment, cleaning equipment and extension leads.
