Jenny Todd, Head of QHSE
Jenny is a member of IOSH and CIEH and joined CH&CO in April 2023, bringing 30+ years of food health and safety and quality assurance experience. After studying food science and technology many years ago, Jenny began her career as a Quality Control Supervisor at manufacturer Premier Foods. She gained experience of multiple product categories through subsequent Technical Services and Technologist roles, including at KFC, Pizza Hut and NSF (a global assurance organisation). Achievements included:
- Developing and managing a store risk management programme for food safety and health and safety, working alongside operations to ensure compliance.
- Updating HACCP systems and in-house training programme
- Introducing new potato varieties to increase availability during a difficult crop year
More recently, Jenny's management experience has included Head of Safety and Head of Technical roles, as well as International Restaurant Food Safety Management at TGI Fridays. Jenny has developed (and often managed) various systems and programmes, including:
- Site-based health and safety and food safety systems in 9 languages in 450 restaurants in 60 internationally franchised markets
- A supply chain assurance programme across 6o countries, with 1000+ suppliers
- ISO 22000 food safety management systems
- An escalation programme for swift resolution of audit failures
When she is not working, Jenny likes ensure she can re-charge mentally by working out in the home gym, getting outside for country walks and visiting National trust sites with between 1 and 4 of her sisters (not forgetting the afternoon tea!)

Michelle Howard, CH&CO Food Safety Consultant
Before joining CH&CO Michelle worked as a 3rd party auditor and also has over 10 years of operational catering manager experience working in large companies as well as small independent businesses. Her safety knowledge has been underpinned by working within a catering environment so she understands the unique challenges food businesses face. She has a passion for coaching others, protecting consumers and continuing to support the catering industry.

Claire Grundy, Food Safety Consultant
Claire has over 17 years experience in auditing food, drink and coffee businesses located in bury travel hubs across the UK. Coming from a hospitality background of operating high street food and drink businesses she has a wide and varied knowledge of standards and requirements in busy and often unique environments. Claire's past experiences include auditing 3rd parties, leading training sessions, developing training courses and documents, investigating H&S Food Safety incidents and accidents.

Marianne Yung, Food Safety Consultant
Marianne (Maz) has over 6 years working experience in food safety and health & safety in the UK. Maz's experience includes delivering audits, training sessions, consultation visits, investigations into accidents and food related incidents, along with developing policies and standard operating procedures. Maz is also a very experienced chef, with over 25 years' service within the catering industry.

Lana Mc Ginn, QHSE Manager Gather & Gather Ireland
Lana Mc Ginn is the QHSE Manager with Gather & Gather Ireland. Lana has held the role since September 2018. In this role Lana is responsible for carrying out site support visits, safety audits, technical advice and support, implementation of Health & Safety and Food Safety management systems. Lana has also worked on a number of key food safety and health and safety projects within Gather and Gather.
In 2007 Lana graduated from Dundalk institute of Technology having achieved a BSc Honours in Food Innovation. On graduating Lana pursued a career with Eurofins an INAB accredited laboratory which tests food, water and environmental samples. Following this Lana held the position of Health & Safety Specialist with Aramark from 2012-2018.
In June 2012 Lana achieved a NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. Lana has also completed an IRCA accredited internal auditing course which has allowed her to develop an understanding of key quality tools and using these skills to conduct internal audits.
