Mark Armstrong - HSE & Technical Services Director
Before joining Compass Group UK & Ireland in January 2015 Mark had a very successful career in the Army; 25 years as an Aircraft Engineer and 8 years in Defence Infrastructure. For the past 4 years he has been the Technical Director bringing compliance and rigour to the delivery of Hard FM services within the UK. As the HSE & Technical Director he wishes to bring the safety culture practised within aviation to the delivery of all FM services within Compass Group UK & Ireland.
Outside of work Mark is the Chairman of the Great Britain Luge Association, a Magistrate on the Worcestershire Bench and a Deputy Lieutenant for the County. A keen walker and amateur bee keeper, he keeps his engineering skills up maintaining classic cars.
