Company policies can be in the form of policy statements, such as the HSE Policy Statements, or the content of the 'A to Z of Food Safety' or 'A to Z of Health and Safety'.
The Compass Group UK & Ireland Policy Statements set out the Company`s overall aims and commitment in respect of the management of Health & Safety, Food Safety and Environment. They are approved by the Executive Committee and by the Group Managing Director.
Units are no longer required to display the Policy Statements on unit notice boards (sites can display if they wish or contracts require to do so).
The Statements are applicable to the whole of the business and are not to be amended in any way without approval from the HSE Director Compass UK & Ireland.
All employees must be made aware of the Policy Statements during their induction training.
