Senior Management Commitment
The UK Executive are committed to the development, integration and implementation of our HSE Management Systems. HSE is our number one operational priority.
Procedures are the key mechanism used to communicate this throughout the organisation. The quality, environmental and safety policy provides the foundation and the objectives provide the driving force for continual improvement. Management reviews are held regularly. The reviews allow management to evaluate how the management systems meet the requirements of the standards, and consider improvements to the systems. Management are committed to ensuring sufficient effective resources are available to make these systems effective.
The UK Executive receive monthly HSE reports and have delegated responsibilities to the HSE Central Functions to monitor and review HSE strategy for the Company.

The HSEQ Manager in Aberdeen produces a 3 Year HSEQ Strategy specific to the offshore sector, incorporating the UK Executive’s mission and vision of always putting Safety, Health and Environment First in everything we do and becoming a world class provider of contract foodservice and support services, renowned for our great people, great our great service and our great results.

Objectives and Targets
Objectives and targets are set using corporate initiatives, regulatory and policy changes, audit results, accident and incident statistics and environmental aspects. They must be measurable, where practicable.
Objectives and targets are established, communicated and monitored within the relevant functions and levels in the company. Progress against objectives is reviewed at least annually at each level in the company.

Unit Objectives and Activity Plan
The Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Objectives of the company shall be clearly communicated to all relevant levels of management and staff.
The annual programme shall describe ESS objectives in a way that encourages the participation of managers, staff and onshore personnel.
ESS aims to build on the positive components of previous strategies and to address the items identified in safety review. An annual Activities Plan is prepared to address specific themes / activities aimed at ensuring a safe workplace.
All employees are asked to commit to the individual objectives specified in the programme and identify additional team based objectives to support the unit’s safety commitment for the year. All employees are issued with a 'credit-card' size safety objectives and commitment card.
Unit Managers are required to complete HSE Activity feedback forms issued by the HSEQ Department on a quarterly basis.
The HSEQ Manager collates the safety performance and achievements on an on-going basis.
The Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Objectives and uptake of activities are reviewed at the quarterly HSEQ Management Review Meetings.
Following the final review meeting of the year, anticipated organisational, legislative and operator changes are also considered in developing the programme for the following year.
Unit Managers shall ensure that a current copy of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Objectives and HSE Activities Plan are displayed on their installation and explained to their crew.
All crew are required to participate in the activities as appropriate
