In this month’s edition, the headline for this month is all about Linney, there are a range of updated documents, materials, and signage available to order via the Linney My Store webpage. Majority are focused on the Food Safety Management system however there are several updates across the HSE section of the store. Why not start the new year a review of the documents, materials, and signage, remove old and replace with the most up to date information.
Our Safety Focus this month is on preventing slips, trips and falls in the workplace. At this time of year, we always see an increase of these types of incidents however in the last two months the increase has been higher than normal. Please review the controls you have in place for your team and unit and be sure to refresh everyone on the Safety Conversation provided on Preventing Slips Trips and Falls.
Our Take Home Safety topic this month is about keeping you and your loved ones safe when walking in the hours of darkness whilst alone. As it is staying and getting darker for longer, we would encourage you to read the tips provided and share these with your teams as we want to ensure that everyone is safe both in and out of the workplace where we can.
